Short Summary

Sanmitra currently teaches nanoscience, chemistry, electrochemistry and energy storage, and environmental studies. His research interest includes designing and synthesizing photocatalysts for water remediation, energy harvesting materials for spectroscopic sensing applications and lastly photoelectrochemical carbon dioxide reduction. He is working on both molecular and nanomaterials as novel catalytic systems. Apart from teaching and research, he is also looking after international collaboration of the university and assisting students for higher studies abroad.
