BCom Admission Process

BCom admission at BML Munjal University(BMU) is based on the scores/marks in the class 12 examination, wherein the candidate/students require a minimum of 60% or equivalent as BCom admission criteria. The B Com application process is online, followed by a rigorous BCom selection process. The university also provides assistance to candidates who may require guidance or support during the B Com admission procedure.

After submitting the application form, shortlisted applicants will be notified by the admission team to carry forward the Bachelor of Commerce admission process, which includes a Personal Interview (PI). The university also considers the applicant’s performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round to assess their communication skills, analytical ability, and motivation. The PI round can be conducted online or offline, and candidates must prepare well in advance to showcase their aptitude and knowledge. The final selection of students is based on the scores obtained in the Class 12 exam and their performance in PI.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants appearing for their class 12 examinations from any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in their class 12 examination are eligible to apply.

B.Com (Hons.) Fee structure: 2023-2026

The fee structure for the 3-year B.Com (Hons.) programme at the School of Management is as follows:

The scholarship is granted after consideration of scores of Class 12, CUET and UGAT.
Students applying through SAT with score more than 1300 will be eligible for scholarship.
The scholarship is granted after a personal interaction with the Dean. The interaction is aimed at getting a holistic understanding of the applicant’s profile.

Admission decision taken by the selection committee

The decision to shortlist applicants via a personal interview and group discussion is made by a selection committee. The committee’s decision to issue an offer letter is final and binding.

Applicants are to submit the completed application form along with relevant documents including copies of certificates and the application fee.
Standardised Test scores are considered within the scope of above.
Candidates will be evaluated on analytical skills, creativity, application-orientation, and communication skills as per defined parameters.
BMU will give offers to selected candidates who are in class 12 or have already completed class 12. In case class 12 results are awaited, an offer extended by BMU is subject to the completion of class 12 and submission of scores. Selected students will receive further communication from the admission team to complete the admission process.
The final decision will be taken by the BMU Admission and Scholarship Committee. The Committee’s decision in this regard will be final and binding.
