Admission to our MBA courses is highly selective. Students must clear CAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ XAT or BMU-MAT (BMU’s Management Aptitude Test) for admission.

B.com Hons Syllabus and Subjects

The course structure for B Com (Hons.) is carefully planned to ensure that a wide range of qualities is passed onto students. The BCom (Hons.) syllabus is updated in tandem with the issuance of a new set of Accounting and Reporting Standards set out by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

B Com (Hons.) course syllabus also provides for specialisation in BlockChain and & Financial Technologies, Forensic Accounting and Corporate Fraud, Banking & Insurance, Derivative and Risk Management. With changing times, BMU believes in providing all the skills necessary to survive in a technologically advanced environment.

1st year BCom subjects include Business law, economics and accounts to provide a stronghold over a student’s fundamental concepts. The third and fourth semesters require students to take up electives as a part of the b.com Hons syllabus. The electives constitute the tally of wide-ranging BCom subjects, including psychology, sociology, political science, environmental science etc.

Owing to the hands-on approach BMU is known for, the fifth semester in BCom (Hons.) syllabus requires students to undergo an articles/ internship along with a project. The last semester has strategic management as a focus and other electives that the student might want to study alongside.
