Note: The Scholarship will be recommended by the selection committee to the approving authority, whose decision will be final and binding. The continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent semesters will follow the university policy.
The full-time Ph.D. scholars (except fellows under government schemes/projects, industry-sponsored fellows) may be awarded the BMU fellowship of INR 40,000/- (per month) for the first two years and INR 50,000/- (per month) for the third and fourth year.
Professional Development Grant (PDG) would be provided to only those Ph.D. scholars who receive BMU research fellowship. The full-time Ph.D. scholars shall be eligible for a PDG of INR 20,000/- (per annum) for the first two years and INR 50,000/- (per annum) for the subsequent two years. Similarly, part-time Ph.D. scholars will also be eligible for a PDG of INR 15,000/- (per annum) for the first two years and INR 25,000/- (per annum) for the subsequent two years. The applicability of PDG will be as per the University policy.
